Default Elite Dungeon Finished; Rewards Suck.

After finishing off the last boss in the Elite Dungeon (Slaver's Exile) we were greeted with a chest that contained one hero armor piece per player, an onyx gem, and a random item (he got a plat longbow, I got another onyx gem).

For a guy who is surrounded by 16 or so level 22 rit spirits, does 300~ dmg, returns 100% of the damage you deal to him and has 15k~ HP, you'd think the rewards would be better.

I thought these dungeons were supposed to provide great risks and good rewards but all we were greeted with were some mediocre items and a hero armor.

I wasn't really suprised by the difficulty, I was by the rewards (or lackthereof)

I don't know, I believe my post pretty much summed up his whinefest. The rest was just conversing with others on the topic at hand. Somewhat more interesting than the original topic.

Is that not the dungeons where you can get the Destroyer Weapons crafted? Probably when I go through there, I’ll make sure a carry the items I need to get one of those.

there's a main level and then 4 seperate sub dungeons you have to clear

I believe that they are all like that.

Every dungeon that I've completed rewarded me with a useless gold item. Those types of items I can get out of a normal locked chest on my way to finish a quest.

But look on the bright side, atleast you got an Onyx gem and hero armor.

You do realize that you are playing Guild Wars right? What is the best thing they could give you for completing it? A green weapon, that has the same mods as my collector version? A rare skin that will become not so rare when people can finish the same dungeon to get it?

What exactly were you expecting?

I wanna see some uber green weapon that cannot be duplicated and mods are weird (like 40% sundering 20% chance or crazy stuff), but have the drawback of being like q14/15/16.

That would make them worthwhile and definatly be new content =P

...also, grats X.x

Tbh no new item will ever be special in anything but name and appearance if it can be used in PvP. PvE only items ftw imo, theyve done it with consumables, now add some weapons that are stronger, or have better inherent mods.

PvE already has overpowered skills. Why not give it some overpowered weapons? Might be a good idea to have them be customized-when-pickedup, though.

You better say that if you ever make this suggestion again.

Anyway... why can't I get greens? Clearned Frostmaw six times in preview, got atleast six diamonds, a non-max bow, and a few other useless golds, just cleared it two minutes ago and got a req 13 staff with +20 ench [almost yay!] and ANOTHER diamond. I really want those greens!

Oh, and thanks a lot ANET on removing the 1k Norn reward.

Oh I understand, just wow.

I guess they could adjust the drops - i.e.if your a warrior, a warrior weapon'll drop, etc.
